My Head Itches In the Kingdom of Hearts

What am I listening too: Crucify by Tori Amos
What am I craving: mexican food
Where am I: Nashville, TN
What timeis it: 6:33

Thanksgiving was great and Christmas is on the way.

When I was in New Orleans, my grandmother gave me an early christmas present. A sewing machine! I'm so excited and I can't wait to get...sewing! The thing stopping me is the lack of...fabric. I have none and I also don't have anything else to sew...so I'll have to wait on that.

One thing that is getting on my very last nerves recently, is the game Kingdom Hearts 2. After getting somewhat far, my mom pulled the plug to rearange my room. Unfortunatly, I don't have a memory card yet, so all my progress was lost. :(
After a month of sulking about it, I got up and tried it again. I have gotten farther...probably twice as far as the first time.
Anyway, I'm at a point in the game that I can't win. It's not like I CANT win, theres nothing stopping me, but I've been at this certain part in the game for weeks probably, and I've tried everything. I'm about to pull my hair out.

For all you Kingdom Hearts fans, I'm at the point where Im fighting the organization 13 guy, at Hollow Bastion.

Well, I have to leave now.

Until next time,

Violet, Not Violence

What am I listening to: Where I stood by Missy Higgins
What am I craving: nothing, I'm stuffed
Where am I: Mt. Juliet, TN
*New Question!* What time is it: 12:oo PM (yes on the dot)

Why hello everyone reading this!
Let me start off saying happy early Thanksgiving!
We had an early Thanksgiving last night for other reasons, and I ate a lot. No more food for a while, please. We had some family and friends over to help eat all the food we made, including: A turkey, gravy, 4 or 5 different kinds of casseroles, rolls, macaroni, 3 different types of pies, mash potatoes, soda, and probably some things I forgot. In the end, it was all very good.

Wednesday, I will be leaving for New Orleans with my mom and sister to visit my grandparents for the real Thanksgiving. Let me say that my grandfather is very sick, in the hospital right now, so if you would keep him in mind for me, thanks. My grandfather is also a wonderful artist, so I will post his website at the bottom.

Christmas is coming-I think I said this in the previous post, but people are rushing it this year- and the one thing I can't wait for is the school break I get. I don't know why it comforts me so much. But, at the end of the break, after New Years, I get to go skiing again. I love skiing. The city we go to is Maggie Valley, North Carolina, in the Smokey Mountains. I love that little town. It's like a little slice of heaven and I can't wait.

Again, Happy Thanksgiving!

Until next time,

In a World of Amazement...

What am I listening to: Raise Your Glass by P!nk
What am I craving: a cough drop
Where am I: Mt. Juliet

Today I took my first step into another world.
It was located next to a bar tending school and a hair stylist school. But, it doesn't really matter where it's located, it just matters that it exists.
With super hero action figures in the window and a $25 Captain America shield hanging on the wall, the place is none other than a comic book store.

Personally, I like manga better, but I'm crazy about zombies too, so I bought a zombie comic book. The comic book I got is called "Zombies Calling" by Faith Erin Hicks. I completely love it! And for all you other zombie lovers, yes I did get a copy of "The Walking Dead" too. When my dad first saw the trailer for the t.v. show, he said, "They made a show just for me!" and it was followed by a long wait for Halloween. With only the second episode out, I'm sitting so far on the edge of my seat, waiting for more.

On other news, I think that the Christmas season is arriving a little too early. My dad went trick-or-treating with my brother and he said he saw Christmas decorations up already. It's not even Thanksgiving! I say wait a couple weeks before you go out and buy your dead tree and decorate it with plastic shapes, glass ornaments, and kindergarten crafts.

I am going to go ahead and end this post with a question a friend of mine asked:
"Do sea bears exist?"

Until next time,

what city:Nashville, TN

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night!

First off, let me say Happy Halloween! I'm being a zombie this year. I went all out and bought colored contacts. (I'll add a picture) My friends love them and think they are freaky...which is a good thing. What are my fellow readers (if any) going to be for Halloween and what are your plans?

Last night, tonight, and Saturday night I will be busy with my schools production of (drum roll please) Alice in Wonderland! No, im not in the cast, but none other than then amazing crew! In fact, I'm in control of the lights. (so so so fun) All this week we have had rehersal till six -glad thats over- and opening night went great...with the exception of the mad hatter being sick at the last minute..but that doesn't matter becuase we are hoping he will get better for the next performance.

Tomorrow, Saturday, my day is jam packed. At eight, I have a forensics tournament. When that ends I will go home and put my costume on (clothes, make-up, and don't forget my colored contacts!) and slip on my stage crew shirt for the last performence of our play. After the play I have a Halloween party. Then, and then only, can I go home and sleep.

I'm relaxing and being lazy today because of a no school day.

Until next time,

The History of Open Books

what am I listening to: Paper Planes by M.I.A.
craving: pad tai with peanuts and no chicken
where am I: school

Today I'm trying something new. My history teacher is giving a lecture (I've noticed a pattern of lectures in only history at every school I've been too) and I decided to write out my blog post in advance so I don't lose inspiration.

My teacher asked us to open our over sized books to a certain page and the guy behind me asks, "What are we talking about?"

Someone forgot their book and in return, the teacher gave him a big fat zero.

"What are some southern colony crops?" He asks.

"Indigo."
"Tobacco."
"Rice."

The teacher continues his lecture with New England and Southern Colonies. Someone asks to go to the bathroom and the teacher starts a story instead. The guy starts tapping his foot and the teacher interrogates him on the last time he went.

After a slow argument, the boy runs out of the room and the teacher continues his lecture with early religions.

Today is a normal day.

I can't wait for the weekend.

Until next time,

How'd it get so cold?

What am I listening to: Teenagers by MCR
What food am I craving: vegan sausage
Where am I: Nashville, TN
word of the week: break
house #: 20

Howdy! If you didn't notice, im in my 20th house. I just moved in the other day. The house is beautiful and I love it! It's also number 20. (yes, I have lived in 20 houses) I don't plan on moving again for a while, so I'm glad I can stop at 20.

The title of this entry is labled so because lately, its gotten some cold around here. It went from 80 degrees to 50 in days! Todays low is 39!!! Good thing is, I love winter.

My word of the week is break because I'm on fall break. I'm so glad we get a whole week off! I'm pretty sure I needed it too. I'm going to go adventuring and possibly have a friend over to help me with that.

Tonight for dinner I get to eat scallops. I absoloutly love scallops. I AM a vegitarien, but I don't believe seafood is meat. Also, I was born eating seafood in New Orleans, so it's pretty hard to turn down that. If there is any fellow vegitarien followers out there this message is for you! Have you ever tried Smart Dogs? I think they taste good, but my family thinks they taste like plastic. I found them in the produce section at the grocery store.

Well, I better get to relaxing on my fall break.

Until next time,

Phia

2nd Base

what am i listening too: Manifest Destiny by Guster
what food am i craving: a smoothie

word of the week: ceiling

Hello there! Second blog post and I have no idea why I'm excited.

First off, let me say that my dad just made an AWESOME dinner! He made what he calls a French bistro meal. Mussels in a heavenly sauce, a really good salad, a baget, and to top is off he made some homemade french fries.
(I'm pretty sure french fries are not french)
It was a meal he was really proud of and tasted delicious.
Sense my siblings are not home for various reasons, it was just my dad, my step-mom, and me. My stem-mom, Angie, is hilariously amazing in her own way and I am so glad I have her in my life.
Anyway, she doesn't like the look of mussels but she does like the taste. Just so she would taste the amazing dish he prepared, my dad did the dirty work of picking up the fork, forking the mussel out of its shell, and putting it on her plate.
Please, don't be afraid of shellfish. They won't kill you with a chainsaw.
And if you have not ever eaten a mussel, then I don't know what you're doing. Get up and go to a seafood restaurant. Better yet, try and make them yourself. I havn't tried, but I don't think it's that hard.
(Don't blame me if it is!!!)

The Starting Line

Heyy.
My name is Sophia, phia for short. (notice its not capitalized)
If your just passing by, please stay for a while.
If your in a hurry, I'll see you next time.
If your looking for a good story, please take a seat and enjoy the ride.

Truth be told, I love to write. In my head I am a warrior, complete with shinning armor head to toe, defeating the enemy known as writers block. The only weapons in my inventory are the following:
a pencil
a notebook
Microsoft word

Although the battles won are even on both sides, the war will never end.

So here I am, writting about writers block, listing to music that I would describe as the voice of angels. I don't really care if i'm as lonely as a snail...under a rock...surrounded by dust...on Mars. My only mission now is to post a blog entry every week, more or less.
